It's been a while since I wrote a blog post. I guess one could say I have a lot going on right now but I am still knitting like a fool on yarn fumes.
I finished the waistcoat by Franklin Habit for my son just in time for spring. It came out very nicely.
Then I decided to make a quick pair of socks. I used an invisible bind off for the top cuff. I was so excited to learn how to do this kind of bind off. I'm not so happy with it at the top of my socks. Its sort of saggy. Not enough structure. Next time I'll save it for heftier yarn or the cuffs on sleeves.
And last but not least I decided to add to the baby clothing stash by making a little one skein sweater. This little charmer is so cute and knits up faster then socks. The pattern is called Sunnyside by Tanis Lavallee on Ravelry. I made this from one skein of medium weight Socks that Rock. Love this stuff. One day I will make myself a sweater out of it.
