Color Obsession

OK it's really called "Color Affection" but for some reason
I became obsessed when knitting it and could not put it down.
At first it was because this shawl/scarf thingy was unfolding so quickly.
And it helps that Bugga yarn is so soft and also likes being obsessed over.

3 Skeins of Bugga
I wanted to see the first section done.
I wanted to feel the second section done.

Then the third section began - 267 stitches to over 400 stitches.
I think the designer left the final stitch count out to lessen
any discouragement seeing that large a number of stitches might bring.
But I was committed now and a new obsession took over
because the though of any more garter stitch had to end.
I like garter stitch but it seems just not as much as others.
Any garter stitch craving I had is gone for now.

Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival

On May 6th, Susie (aka KnittingKnoobie) and her very kind husband Glenn,
took me along on their trip to check out the
39th Annual Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival.
Glenn is not the kind of husband you trade in - he's a keeper.
I could never do the fair the same justice that
Glenn does with his beautiful slide shows.
So just mosey on over *here* to get a real feel
for our day in wool spa heaven.
